Orange cake

We make a fluffy cream of soft butter, sugar, nutmeg and grated orange peel, we add eggs one by one, mixing vigorously after each one, then we incorporate flour mixed with baking powder, interspersed with orange juice;

turn the composition over in a greased form or with baking or silicone paper (preferably round) and leave in the oven for 50 minutes on low heat

After it is baked, we turn it over on a plate, we prick the cake with a fork and we syrup it then we decorate it with thin slices of orange,

For the syrup, put all the ingredients in a bowl and let it simmer until it thickens.
